Message from Mr Chong Choon Chiang, Chairman of KCBA Executive Committee 2009 - 2010
It gives me great pleasure to have opportunity to write a Message for the launching of CSSA Sarawak web site by CSSA Miri Branch on 17 October 2009. The web site will not only serve as an information centre for members of Computer Sales and Services Association Sarawak but most important of all it helps to get people connect in new ways, to educate the public, to share new ideas and up to date information, to provide free resources and services and thereby promote better understanding.
Since the boom of the Internet revolution in the late 1990, every big company and organization learned that having a web site would instantly make their products and services available to millions of site visitors each day. New web sites sprouted up daily as more and more people purchased computers, learned how to use them and began browsing the Internet searching the web sites for information that met their interests. Nowadays, as the Internet continued growing in popularity, people are creating their own personal web sites to disseminate information and personal expression. However, to establish a web site that regularly patronage by wider audience will need to put in a lot of creative ideas and efforts. This is particularly so for a web site of a non-profit organization likes CSSA Sarawak where members involving to determine the contents of the web page are volunteers.
On behalf of KCBA, I extend congratulation to members of the Executive Committee of CSSA Miri Branch and all those who have helped in the construction of the web page. I trust that the launching of the web site will mark a new era of development in CSSA Sarawak.
May your efforts be truly rewarded.
Thank you.
Mr Chong Choon Chiang
Chairman of KCBA Executive Committee 2009 - 2010
