Message from Mr Wong Chi Tieng, Chairman of CSSA Sarawak, Central Committee & Sibu Branch 2009 - 2010
I have the pleasure to present my message as Chairman of CSSA Sarawak for 2009-2010. One of my first task as Chairman of CSSA Sarawak 2009-2010 is to work with my Central Committee Members to revamp our CSSA Sarawak website so as to provide up-to-date information to our members and to the public. I am delighted that CSSA Sarawak website has now been revamped and it now provides more useful information to members and the public.
Such information include Rules & Constitution of Computer Sales & Services Association, Sarawak, Membership Application Form, Guidelines for Members to follow, up-to-date Members’ Directory, past & present Central Committee & Branch Committee Members, past & present Sarawak ICT Expo organized by our Association included in newspaper cutting & photo gallery and other events such as Family Day Gathering, Members’ Night Gathering, Bowling Games competition etc.
We will continue to update our website with upcoming events and activities from time to time. As a member of CSSA Sarawak, we welcome your input on how to improve our website by e-mailing to us.
I am pleased to announce that we have grown in strength over the years. Currently, we have more than 160 Members’ Firms representing majority of computers firms in Sarawak. I strongly urge new computer firms and those computer firms who have not yet joined as member of our Association to join us for the betterment of the ICT industry of Sarawak. You can download the Membership Application Form and submit to the respective branch (Sibu or Miri) or affiliated association KCBA for approval for admission.
As we move ahead, we plan to celebrate our 10th Anniversary in October, 2010 in Sibu, the place where the Association was first mooted. A 10th Anniversary Souvenir Magazine will also be published in conjunction with the 10th Anniversary Celebration. We look forward for your support in advertisement and articles contribution in our 10th Anniversary Souvenir Magazine to mark our 10th Anniversary Celebration.
Last but not least, I urge all member firms to follow the Guidelines set for Members. The Guidelines have been deliberated at length and issued as it represents the wish of majority of members. Member Firms are advised to run sustainable business in order to provide quality service to customers.
Lastly, I wish every member success in your business and contribute more to CSSA Sarawak, an association directly related to your businesses.
Wong Chi Tieng
Chairman of CSSA Sarawak, Central Committee & Sibu Branch 2009 - 2010
